5 Days of Gentle Wellness

As a world, we are in pain right now. In the midst of 2 pandemics, we sit in complete despair, wondering how on earth we can help our tribe. As leaders for a predominantly black business, we must show up for our community. So, we are doing just that, and as always, we are turning to wellness first. ⁣

This month, we launched a 5 Days of Wellness Campaign that really resonated with many! This doesn’t feel like the time to be doing the most, so we shared 5 days of activities, all geared toward self-care, that can be done in 15 minutes or less, at home, and with minimal effort.

We’re consolidating the days and activities here so that you can have them handy for when you feel you are in need of a gentle push. All activities are geared directly toward calmness and stress release. Here’s what you can expect:⁣

DAY 1

Morning Meditation

Let’s prime our day with this quick 7-minute meditation focused on release through the power of breath.⁣ Calm and the release of stress are your gifts to yourself today. Turn up the volume, sit or lie down comfortably, and enjoy.⁣

DAY 2

Gentle Movement

This morning, we want to encourage you to dedicate just 13 minutes to movement. This quick and GENTLE movement routine is simply meant to get your blood flowing, awaken your body, and help you feel strong enough to tackle the day ahead. ⁣

The key intention here is GENTLENESS. This is not meant to make you break a sweat. If you are low on energy, this 13-minute routine is designed for you to take it easy and be kind to your body.⁣

Here’s what to expect:
After you complete each circuit (6 exercises), you’ll be prompted to take a 1-minute break, at which point we encourage you to take some deep breaths, grab a sip of water, and stretch out. ⁣You’ll then repeat the circuit 2 more times (with another 1-minute break in between).⁣

DAY 3

Today, prime yourself once again with a quick 7-minute meditation to bring you calm and peace and help you relax your nerves with a full body scan. Turn up the volume, sit or lie down comfortably, and enjoy.⁣

DAY 4

Live Breathwork Class

Of course, we’re ending the 5 days with some more meditation. It’s so important for us to focus on mindset during these tough times, so we are hoping these short and digestible guided recordings can help get you there. Turn up the volume, sit or lie down comfortably, and enjoy.⁣

We are committed to continuing to deliver wellness to you. We are firm believers that focusing on your health (mind, body, and spirit) is a non-negotiable when times get tough. So, handing these 5 days to you on a platter is hopefully going to make it that much easier.
